Welcome to the official Church of Irrelevance website.

The Church of Irrelevance™ is a concept first introduced in the novel by the same name. In the story, the main character suddenly finds himself sans religion, temporarily leaving him without any sense of hope or faith or even self. As he learns to reconcile this fact with himself, he then embarks on a mission to create a safe haven for similarly minded souls.

This website is an extension of that safe haven, a place for people that have rejected the previously standard Christian religions, or other organized religions, to empathize with each other and begin to develop a community for survivors of the ongoing paradigm shift.

This is a concept and community that is still evolving, but we will strive to:

• teach the world that meaningless lives are worth living
• give everyone the freedom to believe whatever they want
• spread the joy of absolute irrelevance
• change perceptions, one person at a time
